View Seabrook Island from the air............
We have put these photos together to help you picture where our home is relative to the beach and the club facilities.
Note the proximity of the house to the beach area, only 350 yards via the path
to the beach area. In the North Beach area of Seabrook we have a large amount
of "old" dunes area between the house and the water. Over time the beach has
become wider, then small scrub trees moved in. So houses that 30 years ago,
were directly next to the water now have about 300 yards of dunes before the ocean.
Below is the location of the house.

Next is the boardwalk to the beach. This way to the beach is only 0.43
miles or about a 10 minute walk. Since its all boardwalk or road, the footing
is good and strollers, etc. can be rolled via this way.

The house has only one other house in front of it.
Seabrook is not like most beach areas as the homes are not aligned row after row.
Because it does not have a wooden boardwalk, the sand path should not be used in wet weather
or when water is standing on the pathway. Like all southern US areas, take note
of your path in front of you, as there are snakes that you would not want to step
on.

This is a view of the entire Seabrook Island. Its only 1.2 miles by road to
the the point at Edisto River. Biking
is easy (no hills... we are at a beach after all!) and safe.
